Well, let's state the obvious, we're a couple who love cats
and we're excited to meet yours!
Hi there! We're Ellie and Matt, The Cat Couple.
Cats have always been a huge part of our lives, ever since we were kids. We've cared for cats of all shapes and sizes, from pedigree to domestic moggies. We understand that all cats have different needs and unique personalities that require a bespoke approach to their care.
We have two cats in our furry family, Avalon the Ragdoll and Boots the European Shorthair. Avi is a very docile, intelligent, and friendly cat, who has a rather unique appetite, including a passion for peppers! He loves to play with elastic bands and you'll often find him rolling around on his back.
Boots, on the other hand, is a whole different bowl of cat biscuits. He is incredibly vocal and extremely energetic with an almost limitless appetite for playtime! You'll often find him exploring the nooks and crannies of the house, burrowing under rugs and lodging himself in cosy spaces.
We decided to start our cat sitting business after several negative experiences with both catteries and traditional cat sitting services. We felt there was a distinct lack of care for our cats during their time in the cattery. When we opted to go down the route of a traditional cat sitter, we still felt it didn't offer enough of what our cats actually needed whilst we were away.
Because of our vast experience in looking after different breeds of cat, we understand what makes cats tick, so you can expect our level of care to be different to that of your average cat sitter. We've grown our cat sitting clan considerably since we started, and now regularly care for cats all over Manchester.
One of the most important things you will look for when finding a cat sitter are the right people to care for them. With us, you will have complete peace of mind your cat will be in experienced hands whilst you are away. We are fully insured, which includes public liability, injury cover and loss of keys.
